Become A Member
To become a member of the Yin-n-Yarr Clan, you must be either a pirate or a ninja. This means you must either be a heavy drinker who enjoys having fun and doesn't take anything too seriously, or else you must be a mellow thinker who realizes there are more important things in life than gaming.
If you fit one of these descriptions, post on our forums and join up with us in games. Once we get to know you, we'll start a private discussion on our forums about you. Besides, what good are private forums if you can't talk about someone behind their back?
To make yourself stand out more from the crowd, feel free to put a [p] or [n] on your name. You'll show us that you're interested and you'll be able to proudly display your pirate or ninja status. While we don't require potential members to do this, it will greatly increase your chances of getting in.
After a discussion, if the members seem to like you, we'll hold a one week vote. Each member has the option of voting yes, no, abstain, or withhold. Any no votes and you're immediately disqualified from being a member for at least 3 months. Any withhold votes and we allow our members to get to know you better and take another vote 2 weeks later. Of the remaining yes and abstain votes, at least 66% must be yes.
The reason we do things this way is to prevent jerks from getting into the clan. It also allows us to make sure we have no conflicts between members like other clans have. If this sounds interesting to you, hop on our forums and start getting to know us.
